Aliens, Again. is a turn-based squad tactics game set on a ruined Earth where the invasion already happened and the aliens never left. You command a small squad of survivors across a branching campaign, fighting bunker to bunker through breached corridors, flooded decks, and alien-held strongholds. Every mission is a puzzle of positioning, overwatch, and cover: move, shoot, breach, and spend action points carefully, because reinforcements are always closer than they look.
Between battles you recruit and train soldiers, kit them out in the armory, and send them back out wounded. Squad members carry their injuries, kills, and skill picks from mission to mission, so a lucky run and a bad one both leave marks on your roster. The campaign layers commanders, boss encounters, environmental hazards, and a home-base lab on top of the tactical layer, along with a level editor for players who want to build and share their own battlefields.
The game is built for people who like their tactics slow, deliberate, and a little cruel: fans of classic squad-level strategy who want something they can play in short sessions on a phone or settle into on a desktop. It runs in the browser, keeps your campaign saved locally on your device, and rewards careful reads of the battlefield over reflexes.
Aliens, Again. is developed independently by a small team of tactical-game obsessives who grew up on squad campaigns and wanted to make one more. There is no publisher and no marketing department, just the people writing the code, drawing the battlefields, and playtesting every encounter until it feels right. Community feedback on the Discord directly shapes what gets built next.
